PHW Group chooses Innovatec again

The trend towards healthy eating and thus increased poultry consumption continues. As a result, PHW Group, Brüterei Süd der BWE, needed to increase its capacity. Again Brüterei Süd ZN der BWE has chosen Innovatec as its mechanisation supplier.

The Egg Receiving and the Candling & Transfer rooms will be fully automated. Existing equipment has been incorporated in a completely automated product line. By using loaders/unloaders, transfer stackers, walking beams, storage systems and expanding the candling unit, a capacity of between 93,000 and 100,000 e/h is achieved. Increased continuity, an ergonomic way of working and reduced labour costs are the benefits of these product facilities. 

The application of efficient washing concepts for both trolleys and trays has further improved biosecurity. Selecting the POWERWASHER has been the correct choice, it did not only improve the washing result, but also reduced the energy consumption. The smooth surfaces and open structure of the washers facilitated the cleaning process.

For optimal bio security and maximal productivity we collect clear eggs outside the building by means of vacuum transport. The system is equipped with an CIP (Clean In Place).

To optimise the hatching results, relevant production data, such as weighing eggs before setting, during candling and transfer as well as collecting accurate candling data, are being incorporated in the overall data system by a RFID tagging application. Data collection in the Egg Receiving and the Chick Room is also planned as part of this process.
