R&D Engineer Product Development

Following global developments in the poultry sector is a continuous process. For this reason, we are looking for someone to strengthen the Research & Development department.

A multifaceted position:

The R&D engineer makes an important contribution to research into promising product and process innovations. You must therefore closely follow developments in the field. You will make full use of your technical creativity in order to generate effective product innovations. In this respect, you look critically at the technologies and materials to be used.

In this position, you make an important contribution to developments in R&D policy. With your specific technological knowledge, you plan, design, arrange and coordinate research and development projects.

In order to define these R&D projects, coordinate and direct project work and realise innovations and improvements in products and processes, you must have a high level of independence, inventiveness and powers of abstraction, and have a great deal of initiative.

The R&D engineer we are looking for must be accurate and have excellent powers of concentration. This enables you to handle unexpected and new elements in your field of work effectively. You must be able to switch easily and regularly within and between projects.

Naturally, you ensure that new developments are correctly documented and meet the applicable safety standards. You report to the head of the department.
