Sales Manager

As Sales Manager you are responsible for building the market in one of the areas in which Innovatec is active. This could be the Middle East, Russia or Europe. We will take into account your network, affinity and experience in order to create the right fit. You develop and implement the sales and marketing plan. You create and maintain relationships with customers, and with key people and organisations in the market. You also make proposals and present the project to the customer.

Innovatec is a producer of innovative solutions for chick hatcheries. We have been involved in the world of hatchery automation and mechanisation since 1991. This makes Innovatec Europe's most experienced supplier in this specialised field.
From our head office in Asperen, more than 950 customer-oriented solutions have already been delivered in more than 50 countries. From standalone units to complete production lines. The total process of sales, engineering, construction, production and assembly, right through to After Sales & Service, takes place in house.

And what are the tasks associated with this position?
  • Realising turnover and margin in accordance with annual budgets
  • Issuing quotations and proposals to customers
  •  Selecting and recruiting new customers
  • Translating the customer's wishes into suitable solutions
  •  Building on our market position in one of the sales areas
  • Visiting and participating in trade fairs, congresses and seminars
  • Monitoring market developments and trends
  • International travel for about 50% of the time
  • Reporting and accountability to the Director of Sales & Marketing

You are an enthusiastic salesman, enterprising and commercially minded. You have the right skills to build and maintain relationships. The position requires a high degree of flexibility and independence. Affinity with the poultry/ agriculture sector is a strong advantage.

Other requirements for the position:

  • An HBO or university degree in engineering, agribusiness, animal and cattle husbandry, or similar,
  • A commercial technical background and several years of relevant work experience.
