Innovatec Hatchery Automation is proud to announce the next major step in its partnership with Etihad in Iraq: the full automation of a new broiler hatchery, building on the success of the previous installation!
From the very first stage of egg receiving, where transferring and intelligent loading of the egg trays ensure accurate and efficient processing, the entire process will be designed as a single continuous, controlled flow.
During candling and transfer, live embryo detection on day 18 is combined with the removal of non-viable eggs and the separation of clear eggs, which are immediately extracted by an integrated high-vacuum cyclone system, efficiently removing them from the process and minimizing contamination risks.
By incorporating the high-vacuum cyclone system at this stage, the risks of contamination are significantly reduced, biosecurity is enhanced and a higher hatchability is supported. At the same time, the fully enclosed setup drastically reduces odour emissions, creating a cleaner and more pleasant working environment. Yet another example of how smart integration improves both performance and sustainability in the hatchery.
The chick processing area will be fully equipped with Innovatec automation as well, whilst integrated waste processing completes the process. Once again confirming Innovatec Hatchery Automation’s role as a trusted partner in delivering complete, efficient and future-proof automation solutions for hatcheries, from egg to healthy chick.
Stay tuned as we share more milestones from this exciting project and continue building the future of hatchery automation together, shaping the next generation of healthy chicks worldwide.
