Internationaal Field Service Engineer

A varied job

Due to the expansion of our organisation we are looking for an international field service engineer.

Our products are manufactured ready for assembly at our head office in Asperen. These products are then shipped to our customers who are located worldwide. As a field service engineer, it is your responsibility to ensure that all elements are built and delivered on-site to form a fully functioning production line. For this varied job, you will travel abroad regularly.

Innovatec is a producer of innovative solutions for chick hatcheries. We have been involved in the world of hatchery automation and mechanisation since 1991. This makes Innovatec Europe's most experienced supplier in this specialised field.
From our head office in Asperen, more than 950 customer-oriented solutions have already been delivered in more than 50 countries. From standalone units to complete production lines. The total process of sales, engineering, construction, production and assembly, right through to After Sales & Service, takes place in house.

And what are the tasks associated with this position?

• assembly of machinery on the basis of assembly drawings and bills of materials
• testing of both single machines and full systems
• the delivery of the mechanisation in the Netherlands and abroad
• performing service and warranty work
• performing work in the Netherlands and, in particular, abroad
• the independent realisation of projects at customers' locations with lead times of 2 to 3 weeks as well as the performance of service and after-sales activities
• contact person at the customer's premises
• reporting on work carried out at the customer's premises
• identifying the customer's need(s) and informing project management and/or sales about them
• the assembly and testing (take-up) of projects or machines in the assembly process

For this position we are looking for a colleague who is flexible and stress-resistant. In addition to your social attitude, you have a feel for commerce, you are analytical but above all you are critical. It goes without saying that you are service-minded and that you are always ready for the customer and your colleagues.

Finally, you meet the following concrete requirements:

• MBO education with HBO working and thinking level preferably with a mechanical engineering background/ Mechatronics and/or electronics
• A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of control technology, electric and pneumatic
• Knowledge of switching and regulation technology is an advantage
• Experience in supervising projects and managing employees on location
• Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
• Good social and communication skills
• Knowledge of the common office packages
• Willingness to work in all countries
• Willingness to take courses
• It is an advantage if you have experience of TIG welding
